Let me tell you a little about why this matters so much to me.
My name is Angela.
I’m a qualified teacher with more than 30 years’ experience in both state and private schools, and the founder of Genius 11Plus—a program I created not only to help children pass the 11+ exam, but also to give them a lifelong competitive edge by teaching them to focus, think critically, and learn effectively.
As an English teacher with over 30 years of experience in the school system, I owe much of my personal success to two people: my parents and my class teacher Mr Richardson.
Mr Richardson spotted my potential as a bright 11-year-old maths whiz at Mayville Junior School in London, back in 1986.
At the time, I struggled with English but he believed in me.
During lunch, I went to him and he helped me sharpen my reading, comprehension, and creative writing skills.
I also didn’t waste the gift I had been given, I stayed up late studying and worked hard to make the most of the opportunity.
On August 2nd, 1995, I began helping other families do the same—guiding parents who wanted to maximise their child’s future potential through the 11+ exam. That year, the Genius 11+ Summer Bootcamp was born.
